These parts are only compatible with the Speedlight Jr. system, do not try to combine with different brands. Parts are not returnable.
Do not touch the glass bulb with your hands as oils from skin can damage the bulb. Gently clean the glass if accidentally touched.
The bulbs are compatible with the 120V, 24V, and 230V Speedlight power supplies. The power supply converts the voltage into the proper voltage to power the light.
If your bulb does not light, the power supply is likely bad and needs replacement. These bulbs don't typically "burn out" like a standard lightbulb would, they lose UV intensity after 9000 hours / 1 year of constant running, and should be replaced at that point.
