The Smith 430 stainless steel filter offers long life in difficult filtering areas. It's designed for efficiency and easy cleaning. Because of the stainless steel, it can withstand harsh chemicals when it comes to cleaning.

Construction:
Frame shall be one piece, formed stainless steel channel, securely connected with heavy rivets. Filtering media shall consist of multiple layers of corrugated stainless steel expanded through specified feeds to assure maximum filtering and internal loading capabilities. Filters shall retain 240 grams of grease or 300 grams of dust per 400sq. inches of filter area. Resistance when clean is 0.075 w.g. at 350 f.p.m. air velocity.
Material:
Filtering element shall be processed from stainless steel sheet expanded to .032 strand. Frame shall be made from type 430 stainless steel, not less than .024 thickness, joined with stainless steel rivets. The 430 stainless steal has magnetic qualities. Maximum temperature range on this stainless steel filter is 700 degress F.
